Acadia National Park

Here is the Maine I imagined. Just hop in a kayak and paddle around a cove any old time.

and those dramatic rocky shores . . .

and boats. Does everyone here have a boat?

View from the restaurant into Acadia NP near our Seawall Campground.

Up early Sunday morning to see Bar Harbor.

Down at the harbor on a beautiful Spring day.

Checking out the boats in Bar Harbor.

Cruise ship departs.

These wild roses smell like the real McCoy.

Summer cottage along the harbor path.

Schedule of stuff to do in the Park which I didn't find time to do!

Wading at Sand Beach along the Acadia Park Road.

Thunder Hole - The ocean jams against the granite and might get everyone wet.

Popovers at Jordan Pond House sitting at a table on the grass overlooking Seal Harbor is a tradition. We found ourselves there on Father's Day.

  2. That photo with the cruise ship looks photoshopped. I had to do a double-take after all the other photos of that place.
