On our last day in Halifax we all went to see the Halifax Tattoo on one of the hottest recorded days in Nova Scotia history.
Luckily the air conditioning was working in the arena.

The 2013 Tattoo themes included the Battle of the Atlantic, and the Capture of the USS Chesapeake by the HMS Shannon in the Battle of Boston Harbor on June 1, 1813.
(This is back when the Canadians were British Loyalists.)

In the exciting finale the floor began filling up. The length of the show with intermission was nearly three hours.

It was lots of fun to attend.
Wow, what a show. The spectacle reminds me of an Olympics opening.
