Lake Charles, Louisiana. We stayed by the Lake and had some wonderful sunsets.
In the nearby Casino, the big prizes were fancy lawnmowers! There is a lot of grass to be mowed in Louisiana!
Milt and Paul prepared a genuine boudoin sit-down evening meal for our group with everything but silver candelabras.
We saw the Lake Charles Symphony perform Rimsky-Korsakov, Haydn and Sibelius to an enthusiastic audience. Next door to the concert was a Mardi Gras Ball and everyone was dressed as if going to the Prom.
In the local Visitor Center was this shoe-box Mardi Gras art exhibit by local kids. That's the grand winner in front.
