Annapolis

We had a day trip to Annapolis from Washington D.C.

Our tour group had a wonderful guide who was a former pediatrician at the Naval Base. We learned about Navy culture listening to this fellow.

The Blue Angels were not there that day but we learned this flight squadron represents the Navy.

Graduation is a subject of the talk.

This is an old building we were taken through with a variety of activities taking place.

The rooms where first year students live look like college dorm rooms. Everything must be orderly at all times.

The campus looks like a college campus as well - and it is, after all.

This is the elegant entry hall for the building in which all students live under one roof.

Our guide had a lot of respect for the Navy and its culture.

The Chapel.

Dinner at the Officer's Club - Yankee Pot Roast.

The Naval History Museum.

Look what I got in the mail! Lucky mom.
